Welcome to Elba Township<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Elba Township is located in the southwest portion of Lapeer County, Michigan. Established in 1838, this small community of 5235 residents thrives on the peaceful living environment and rich heritage. Elba offers pristine lakes and beautiful rolling farmlands. Elba is a convenient commute to nearly any location, using the I-69 highway, which travels through the center of the Township.<\/p>\n

Elba Township Hall is located at the corner of Hadley & Lippincott Roads. The Supervisor,\u00a0Clerk, Treasurer and Assessor’s offices are here to help you with any questions that you may have.<\/p>\n

The township offices are located at 4717 Lippincott Rd., Lapeer, MI 48446, and the phone number is 810-664-2332.<\/p>\n

Winter tax bills will be mailed December 1st and are due in office by February 17th, 2026 without penalty.<\/div>\n
Any unpaid balance as of February 18th, are subject to a 3% penalty. Taxes can only be paid in the township office through March 2nd, 2026. After March 2nd, any remaining tax balances will be sent to the Lapeer County Treasurer as delinquent. Any payments left in the drop-box or received by mail, after March 2nd, will be forwarded to the county treasurer.\u00a0<\/div>\n
